Ameri Khaman:
This is a Gujrati snack which is made from dhokla. It’s a sought of variation in dhokla. This is a delicious starter for any party.
Ingredients
2 cups Khaman dhokla , crumbled
1 tablespoon Mustard seeds
2 Green Chillies , finely chopped
1/4 teaspoon Asafoetida (hing)
1/4 teaspoon sesame seeds
1/4 cup Fresh coconut , grated
Coriander (Dhania) Leaves , Few sprigs finely chopped
Pomegranate de seeded
Sunflower Oil , for cooking

Method:
1. To begin making the this Recipe, use leftover dhokla or fresh dhokla. I have used ready Talod dhokla Mix to make them.
2. Once the dhoklas cool down, crumble the dhoklas and keep aside.
3. Heat oil in a pan and when the oil is hot, add mustard seeds and let them splutter.
4. Once the seeds have spluttered add sesame seeds, asafoetida, curry leaves and green chillies and saute them for a few seconds.
5. Once done add this tempering on the crumbled dhokla and add grated coconut, de-seeded pomegranate and mix.
Garnish with coriander leaves, Sev and serve.
Tip: you can add ginger paste and green chilli paste as per your taste to the dhokla batter.
