Corn 🌽 Chaat


For Cooking Corn


â–˘ 1 cup corn kernels

â–˘ 1.5 cups of water for boiling corn

â–˘ ÂĽ teaspoon salt or add as required


Main Ingredients


â–˘ 1 small onion đź§… - finely chopped

▢ 1 medium tomato 🍅 - finely chopped

â–˘ 1 green chili - finely chopped (optional)

â–˘ 1 tablespoon chopped coriander leaves or parsley leaves

â–˘ ÂĽ teaspoon red chili powder or as required

â–˘ 1 teaspoon chaat masala powder or as required

▢ 1 or 2 teaspoon lemon 🍋 juice or add as per taste

â–˘ salt as required

â–˘ 1 or 2 teaspoon of Imli/ tamarind chutney

â–˘ curd whisked with 1 tsp sugar

â–˘ 1 or 2 teaspoon Mint/ Pudina Chutney


For Garnishing


â–˘ a few coriander leaves or parsley leaves for garnishing

â–˘ sev (fried gram flour fine vermicelli) for garnishing (optional)


Instructions


Boil or pressure cook the corn 🌽 kernels.

Mix the corn 🌽 kernels along rest of the ingredients in a bowl.

Check the taste and add more salt or chaat masala or lemon 🍋 juice if required.


Serve the corn 🌽 chaat immediately, in individual serving bowls or plates topped with sev and a garnish of coriander/parsley.
