LDA has directed officials to prepare a revenue model to kick-start hot air balloon services in Lucknow

Tourists in Lucknow are in for an all-new adventure ride. The Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) has decided to launch hot-air balloon services at parks and monuments, maintained by the Smarak Samiti. Earlier this week, Vice-Chairman Tripathi of the LDA, directed the concerned officials to prepare a business plan to start the rides in the city. Further, they also need to identify and list locations where the adventure service can be provisioned.

The Lucknow Development Authority has channelled its energy to open new attractions in the city and boost its 'tourism economy'. For this, hot-air balloon services from LDA parks and monuments of the Smarak Samiti, will soon take over the city's skyline.

As such, a business plan for the whole project and a revenue module to generate income for the Smarak Samiti are presently being drafted by the LDA. It may be noted that these adventure rides will be available for interested travellers, tourists and revellers, at nominal charges.
