India Goes Vocal For Local This Diwali; China Faces ₹50,000 Crore Worth Of Loss
Vocal For Local is the best mantra for our economy and development of India 🇮🇳
While the Covid-19 pandemic played a damper on last year’s Diwali celebrations, this year the “festival of lights” was celebrated with pomp and show. According to the Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT), Diwali festival sales generated a huge business of around ₹1.25 lakh crore, that’s a record sale figure in the last 10 years of Diwali. In a report by The Statesman, CAIT National President, BC Bhartia revealed that Chinese goods were not sold in the markets across India. With an emphasis on Vocal for Local, customers focussed on purchasing Indian goods, this led to China facing a massive direct loss of ₹50,000 crores.
If just Diwali 🪔 sales can do, imagine what we can do if we stop 🛑 Aerated drinks and Dekho Apna Desh can do.
So let’s try and support Indian products and travel India 🇮🇳!!
