Where there’s a will, there’s a way holds true for Shweta Parmar.

28-year-old woman from Gujarat's Vadodara, Shweta Parmar on July 27 became the state's first and the country's fourth licensed civilian woman skydiver.

Parmar has completed an eight-level course, 29 jumps in Spain and had to appear for a written exam before earning United States Parachute Association A license.

Shweta’s ‘flight’ with skydiving started with a tandem jump in Mehsana that cost her Rs 35,000 in 2016. Tandem jump is when you are attached to an experienced skydiving instructor for your jump.
