Many people believe that the crux of a healthy diet is the exclusion of unhealthy foods. I believe, rather than just focusing on cutting things out, a good diet should also incorporate an increased intake of nutritious, health boosting foods. There are many foods which will help improve health and well being as well as protect against future illness.
In general, we should make sure that the diet we take provides our body with essential nutrition : fluids, essential amino acids from protein, essential fatty acids, vitamins, minerals and adequate calories.
