Tamarillo is also known as a tree tomato. There are yellow and red tamarillos. The EAT ME tamarillo is a red variety. The flesh of this fruit is orange and contains black edible seeds. Tamarillo has a slightly sweet and intense flavour. The skin is bitter and as such usually doesn't get eaten.
