No oil Healthy Beans

Let’s relish on some South Indian Sabji , shall we?


Healthy Beans Palya (Sabji)


Ingredients:

Beans 1/4 kg finely chopped and par boiled

Toor dal 1/2 cup

Channa Dal 1/2 cup

Lemon zest 1/4 tsp

Lemon juice 1 tsp

Sugar 1/2 tsp

Pink salt as per taste

Coriander finely chopped

Green chilli paste as per taste

Fresh grated coconut 🥥


For Tadka:

Ghee 2 -3 tsp

Mustard seeds-1/4 tsp

Jeera seeds-1/4 tsp

Hing a pinch

Curry leaves few


Method:


1. Boil toor & channa dal in pressure cooker. ( Make sure dal are not over cooked & smashed)

2. Strain the water from the dal and keep it separately.

3. Take a bowl and add par boiled beans, fresh grated coconut, zest, salt, sugar, coriander, green chilli paste and mix together but make sure the dal is not smashed.

4. Heat a small pan and add ghee and let it get hot, add mustard, jeera, hing, curry leaves and pour this on the beans mixture and mix together.


Serve with rice 🍛
