It is a well known fact that soybeans are the only common plant food that contain complete protein. Soybean protein provides all the essential amino acids in the amounts needed for human health. Soy protein is known to reduce LDL (bad) cholesterol and triglycerides without lowering HDL (good) cholesterol. However, it is essential to note that unprocessed or uncooked soybeans are toxic and unhealthy. It is necessary to have soybeans after processing or cooking them. You can have soybeans in the form of soy milk, tofu, soy flour, soy isolates or in any cooked form.
