Spain reopens for Indian travellers for fully vaccinated with Covishield, you can now apply for visas
Fully Vaccinated with Covishield and have plans of travelling to Spain, then here’s everything you need to know.
Spain is planning to welcome travellers from India. Spain has already reopened its consular offices, so you could apply for a Spain visa if you wish to. There are certain requirements that need to be met before you can decide to travel to Spain, so do make sure you meet these criteria.
Interested travellers who would like to travel to Spain must be fully vaccinated, but Covaxin is not approved. On the other hand, Covishield has been approved by Spain. The documents must be presented by all, but the rule does not apply for children under the age of 12. Schengen visa is certainly a must-have or you can apply for a Spanish visa through the online system.
It is important to note that visa applications for Spain are now being accepted only at the Delhi centre. The good news is that you can change your date of travel in case the flight gets canceled, or you are unable to travel during the visa period.
The rule says that you are required to submit the passport and your new flight reservations if you need to change the validity of your visa. This is true for when the visa period has not started. But in case your visa is already in effect, then you are required to reapply. This means, going through the entire process, and submission of all documents.
